Health knowledge of school childern about health  practices in Baghdad

Summary A descriptive field study was conducted frorn ( 4) primary school in Al-Karkh & A]-Rausafa sectors to identify the scope of health information of students.
A questionnaire form was designed included different items of the stud. (200) Students were interviewed.
The main finding s of the study were (42%) of the sample students aged (9-11) years old (56%) of them were male. questionnaire also was including items to identify the students knowledge either positive o r negative.
 The results showed that (62%) for the alternative( always) to the item (wash Free and hands before going to school)some statistical methods were used such as frequencies, percentage and chi – squarer to identify, the significant differences between some variables. Significant relationship was found between knowledge student s sex.
  The main recommendation that there is an importance to improve the students health information by administrative staff, teachers and health team.
