برنامج المقرر


اولا المقدمة
Network Operating Systems is an intensive introduction to multiuser, multitasking network operating systems.
Every network today has some form of software to manage its resources. This software runs on a special, high-powered computer and is called a network operating system (or NOS, for short). The NOS is one of the most important components of the network.
MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of MikroTik RouterBOARD hardware. RouterOS is a network operating system, and our goal here at this course is to provide most the features which provides.

1. Identify the basic capabilities (for example, client support, interoperability, authentication, file and print services, application support, and security) of the following server operating systems to access network resources: UNIX/Linux/Mac OS X Server, NetWare, Windows, AppleShare IP (Internet Protocol(.
2. Learning about the various client- and server-related topics for four main network operating systems: Windows, NetWare, UNIX, and the Mac OS.
3. Learning about client support, interoperability, authentication, file and print services, application support, and security.
4. Providing all MikroTik features with a quick and simple installation and an easy to use interface.
5. Accessing the MikroTik router.
6. Reviewing TCP/IP Basics.
7. Providing Routing overview
8. Reviewing Wireless Concepts and Security.
9. Learning Firewall principles.
10. Discussing RouterOS ARP table and DHCP server and client.
11. Learning Proxy
12. Learning Bridging concepts
13. Setting up Internet connection via router.
14. Managing RouterOS services.
15. Backing up and export/import configuration.
16. Configuring Simple Queuing.
17. Setting up HotSpot.
18. Setting up PPPOE Server & Client.
