Computer: electronic devise perform three main operations receive data, process it according to predefined instructions and produced output data (Information).
Information technology (IT): A set of tools that are used to receive, process, store, retrieve, print and transmit information in an electronic form such as text, sound, picture or video.
For instance: Computer, Scanner, Printer, and Etc. The components of a computer system are:
Hardwar: physical components like Screen, Cables, keyboard, System box and printer.
Software: A set of instructions that tells the computer what to do and how to do it. Such as Word processing.
Users: A person who uses the software on the computer to do some tasks. Parts of a computer:
System Unit: It is the box which contains the center processing unit (CPU), main memory drivers and the power supply.
Input Devices: Consists of devices that allow people to put data into the computer in a form that the computer can use. For instance keyboard and mouse. Output Devices: Consists of devices that translate information processed by the computer into a form that humans can understand. For instance the monitor.
Peripherals: Any piece of hardware that is connected to a computer. For instance printer and Scanner.
