INTRODUCTION TO CNS
Objectives:
By the end of this lab students are expected to be able to:
1. Locate the major parts of the CNS and their main subdivisions
2. Identify the three coverings of the CNS and the spaces related to them
3. Recognize the main ventricles of the CNS
4. Distinguish the course of the main dural venous sinuses
5. Discriminate the major types of cells found within the CNS
6. Identify different types of nerve cells and their major parts
7. Compare the location of gray matter in brain and spinal cord
