Part I: Coronary arteries
Objectives:
By the end of this lab students are expected to be able to identify the following structures:
A- Arteries supplying the heart
1. Right coronary
2. Left coronary
B- Course of right coronary artery
1. Between the pulmonary trunk and the right auricle
2. Along the Right atrioventricular groove
3. Reach the posterior interventricular groove
4. Anastomose with branches of the left coronary artery
C- Course of left coronary artery
1. Between the pulmonary trunk and the left auricle
2. Enters the atrioventricular groove
3. Divides into
a) Anterior interventricular
b) Circumflex
D- Course of anterior interventricular artery
1. Anterior interventricular groove
2. Apex of the heart
3. Posterior interventricular groove
4. Anastomoses with right coronary artery
E- Course of circumflex artery
1. Along the left atrioventricular groove
2. Around the left margin (border) of the heart
3. Anastomose with terminal branches of the right coronary artery
Part II: Conductive system of the heart
Objectives:
By the end of this lab students are expected to be able to identify the following structures:
1. Sinuatrial node
2. Atrioventricular node
3. Atrioventricular bundle
a) Left branch
b) Right branch

Objectives:

a) Brachiocephalic artery

3. Descending Thoracic Aorta

? Behind the superior vena cava
? Root of the right lung
2. Left Pulmonary Artery
? In front of the descending aorta
? Root of the left lung
B- Veins:
? Right brachiocephalic vein
