The analysis of principles of convection heat transfer has shown in last chapter. In this chapter the forced convection is presented.This lecture show one might analytically attack the problem of heat transfer in fully developed laminar tube flow. The fluid properties vary widely with temperature, and turbulent-flow systems are considerably more complicated but are of very important practical interest in the design of heat exchangers and associated heat-transfer equipment. The turbulent is more complicated may sometimes be solved analytically. The empirical correlations are usually of greatest practical utility. In this section we present some of the more important and useful empirical relations and point out their limitations.Also, many problem solved to give students some applications to understand the forced convection heat transfer applications.There are many conditions were presented for flow in tubes. The most conditions are constant wall temperature or constant heat flux. The type of flow will effect on the variation of temperature of fluid that flow through the pipe. Hence, there are many empirical relation that associated with the flow type (fully developed laminar or turbulent flow ) or at entrance region.
