Interrogative And Relative Adverbs

Interrogative adverbs are used for asking questions. These are subdivided into;

a.    Time (questions beginning with "when, what time and how long"

b.    Place (questions beginning with" where"

c.    Manner (questions beginning with "how"

d.    Cause / reason (questions beginning with "why"

e.    Extent, degree, amount, frequency.

(questions beginning with "how far, how many, how much, how old, how often")

   e.g.

      When did you leave?

      How long will she be there?
