The Order of Adverbs

     The adverb of degree is placed before the adjective, the adverb or the main verb it is used  to modify;

   e.g,

   It was very hot.

              (degree) adj

He speaks English quite well

                               (degree) (adv)

I quite agree with you.

She was rather disappointed.

It was too foggy to see the road ahead.
