Interrogative Adjectives and Pronouns

Interrogative adjectives and pronouns are generally called question words . these are :

who

whom

whose

what

which

from among these ,whose , what , and which  may be used as adjectives or pronouns , while who and whom are used as pronouns only. When used as an adjective the form has to be used with a noun or a noun equivalent .

an interrogative form is a form that asks a question.

These forms function as follows :

Who asks after persons in the nominative case .

Whom asks after persons in the accusative case .

Whose asks after persons in the possessive case .
