Concerning this situation, we have the suggested situation about what is going on a post office. This topic is as real as any other thing any can do in a daily life. If we pass through such a situation we have to know the procedure and the style followed by native speakers to follow. We do not have to think that such a need can be done easily and we can express ourselves in a correct way by using what we keep without referring to any other suggested style used by a native speaker. Take the first four opening questions which are of a grate value and they are semantically valuable. They start with different starting points referring to the same goal "What s the postage on these letters to Thailand, please?, Could you tell me how much this parcel to France is?, How much is this registered letter to Germany, please? and What s the surcharge and postage on this express letter, please?". So, we have different options referring to the same point and different ways to get what we need. Things have to be done in a perfect way and similar to the way used by native speaker. So if we are acquainted with such ways we can increase our production. As far as the suitable way for such questions is concerned, we can state different ways to respond to such question but the native speaker has his/ her own ways and style to deal with such situations. So, he/she may respond saying, "I ll have to check. Do you need anything else?, I think I d better look that up. Was there anything else?, A black coffee for me, please., An iced coke would go down well., I d like something cool I ll j? and I ll have a look. Did you want anythig else?". After such suggestions it seems that there is an agreement between both partners which led to suggest something other than what has been suggested in the first two roles like cake or something to eat. So, we have "Yes. A50p stamp, please, Yes. A postal order for 1.25$ and an air letter form, Yes. Half a dozenair mail labels and a book of stamps and Yes. While I m about it, I ll have a large registered envelop". The stream of communication continues in such a way until the intended goals of such a conversation are achieved.
