Concerning the seventeenth situation, we have the suggested situation about "Making an Appointment". This topic is as real as any other thing any can do in a daily life. If we pass through such a situation we have to know the procedure and the style followed by native speakers to follow. We do not have to think that such a need can be done easily and we can express ourselves in a correct way by using what we keep without referring to any other suggested style used by a native speaker. Take the first four opening questions which are of a grate value and they are semantically valuable. They start with different starting points referring to the same goal "Will Dr. Black be able to see me at about 9.15 tomorrow?, I wonder whether the dentist could fit me in early tomorrow?, I d like to fix an appointment with the principle. Would nine tomorrow be all right? and Do you think the staff manager could see me tomorrow before 9.30?". So, we have different options referring to the same point and different ways to get what we need. Things have to be done in a perfect way and similar to the way used by native speaker. So if we are acquainted with such ways we can increase our production. As far as the suitable way for such questions is concerned, we can state different ways to respond to such question but the native speaker has his/ her own ways and style to deal with such situations. So, he/she may respond saying, "Sorry, but he s fully booked till eleven unless there s a cancellation, I m afraid there s nothing before midday and He won t be in till 10.45, so the earliest would be 11". After such suggestions it seems that there is an agreement between both partners which made the first speaker suggest something other than what has been suggested in the first two roles like "Would ten to one be convenient?, How about 12.45?, Could I make it quarter to one? and Is 12.40 any good" which face certain kind of negation or assurance. The stream of communication continues in such a way until the intended goals of such a conversation are achieved.
