Second and Third Situations

As far as the second situation is concerned, we have to think of an other atmosphere in which we have to ask about the right bus. This situation looks real as it refers to a natural one since we always face situations similar to this one. We have now different directions, different questions as well as different responses. To view the first four questions, we can say that there are more than one way to refer to such a case and such a need can be expressed in different ways and these are some of them. Although these questions carry certain semantic values we can  say that they are the only expressions available for native speakers of English as well as well as the final ones. But keeping such expressions may increase the learners ability to express his/her need in a way looks similar to that of native speaker. So such questions vary but deal with the same goal "Does this bus go to the station?, Am I OK for St Mary s Church?, Do you go to the sea front? and Is this the right bus for the Town Hall?". This proves that we can express ourselves easy if have the perfect procedure to follow other than this we can add within the same sphere what we believe is correct according to these styles. On the other hand, we may find a way that looks suitable to such a way of questioning which pictures a suitable answer even it is negative. So, we have different responses starting with negation directing the receivers attention to another place that fits his/her goal organized in a way suitable to the native speaker s thinking. At the beginning we have "No, you ll have to get off at the bank, and take a 192." for the first question which reflects formality as well as accuracy. For the following three questions, we have, "No, we only go as far as the park, but you can walk from there, No, you re going the wrong way. You want a 143 from the church, and No, you should have caught a 12. Jump out at the bridge and get one there."  Such expressions are well organized as well as accurately built. We come now to the other question said by the first person who introduced the speech which also has to be of a great value as well as highly organized and semantically perfect. So, we have " Can you me where to get off?, How much further is it?, have we got much further to go?, Could you tell me where to get there?". Then, at the end we have the final responses said by the person whom the speech is directed for from the beginning. Such responses have to be accurate and semantically valuable.
Concerning the third situation, we have the suggested way to take a taxi. This topic is as real as any other thing any can do in a daily life. If we pass through such a situation we have to know the procedure and the style followed by native speakers to follow. We do not have to think that such a need can be done easily and we can express ourselves in a correct way by using what we keep without referring to any other suggested style used by a native speaker. Take the first four opening questions which are of a grate value and they are semantically valuable.  They start with different starting points referring to the same goal taking a taxi "The American Embassy, please. I have to be there  11.10.,  Do you think you can get me to Victoria by half past?, Piccadilly, please. I have an appointment at 10.30., and Paddington, please. I want to catch the 11.15". So, we have different directions and different ways to get what we need. Things have to be done in a perfect way and similar to the way used by native speaker. So if we are acquainted with such ways we can increase our production. As far as the suitable way for such questions is concerned, we can state different ways to respond to such question but the native speaker has his/ her own ways and style to deal with such situations. So, he/she may respond saying, "I can t promise, but I ll do my best., We should be OK if the lights are with us., I think we can make it if we get a move on and We will be alright if there are no hold-ups.". After such suggestions it seems that there is an agreement between both partners which led to achieve the task in a perfect way and in time. So, we have " You re just in time.$6.30, please., You ve still got five minutes to spare. $6.40, please., Here we are, sir. $6.35, please. And This is it, sir. $ 6.50, please." If we view such expressions we can say that each one contains two points: an announcement about the achievement of the goal and a hint about the mount of the money that has to be paid. Then we reach to the final step in which also two points have  to be stated: paying the fair and presenting favor and thankful by giving a tip. This reflects the mutual co-operation among society and the effect of presenting a service within a highly formal style.
