It was founded in 23-3-2004 to relate to the university rector assistant office for the administrative and financial affairs.
This class ,in coordination the center committee of settlement formed to be headed by university rector assistant for the administrative and financial affairs and membership of the administrative dean assistants in all colleges, studies the order of gaining of settlement by the university associates and checks them according to competition standards which depend on the systems and regulation concerning the settlement.
The main jobs are as follows:-
- Keeping of the files and records of the competitors on the university settlement of the instructors and officials.
- Following of procedure of settlement after the order of specialization of the house or flat for one of the competitors on the settlement by means of the central settlement committee.
- Following of providing living building with water and electricity to increase accommodation for the dwellers.
- Following of works of maintenance for the living houses and flats.
- Making of the continuous statements for the houses flats of the university to follow the settlement class instruction and inform the central committee about the wrong that may be observed.
- Suggestion of directing of warning against the house and flat dweller in case of non-adherence of the housing instruction .
- Following of the works of deduction attainment from the living houses and flats dwellers in the university by the university financial affairs.
- Keeping of all the statistics data concerning these who the house or flats and in relation to the competitors on the settlement.
- Following of implementation of the instructions directed from the central settlement committee.
- Delivering or receiving of the houses after issuing the order of specialization or emptying.
- Inserting of data related to these who live in the houses or the competitors on the university settlement on computer according to the programmed prepared for this purpose in the number of living houses of Babylon university estimated (93),(36) of them are in the university block and (57) ones distributed inside Hilla city .The livening flats are distributed as flats of one chamber are about (40) in the university block ,and (20) ones of two chambers with in the university block.
