Cultural Relations Department
Scientific affairs and cultural relations
department founded with the foundation of the
university itself in 25\4\ 1991 .The department
aims at widen the relations between the university
with Iraqi, Arabian and international universities
and get use from the results of such relations. The
department does the following duties:
Cultural Relations
This department is concerned with the cultural
agreements with the Iraqi, Arabian, and foreign
universities and follow through accomplishing its
items from wholly scientific engagement of the
university lecturers, doing mutual visitations, keep
base with the local and international conferences,
make it easy for the scientific cadres to
participate in training sessions and scientific
seminars and all the things involved in deputing
university staff to attend them.
Research and Evaluation
It concerns with following through scientific
researches written and accomplished and studying
curriculums for colleges and evaluate the
performance of scientific magazine connected with
the university and make arrangements between the
university and the industrial sectors.
Missions and Fellowships
The department takes care of Missions and
fellowships outside the country for university
members according to the instructions, it also
concerns with organizing and following through
researches missions for after graduate studies
students with their supervisors who are in
researching stage.
Sessions
Generalize sessions and invitations concerned with
conferences, seminars, scientific activities in and
outside the country that come to the department and
for all colleges and leadership building departments
and research centers and make sure that they reach
to the largest number of the employees and at time;
this will give them the opportunity to get benefit
from the sessions. The department also spreads the
instructions comes from the ministry of higher
education in the issues connected with the
department jobs and utilizing the answers and send them
back to the ministry or to the institutions
involved. |
