Service department was created in 18-12-2003 .It relates to the office of the university rector assistant for the administrative and financial affairs and follows the officials' transportation on the university level as well as machines movement and its maintenance and provides them with fuel .In addition, it develops and continues the university gardens and pays attention to the squares and street of the university.
This
department includes the following :-
- Agricultural Class:-
This class pays attention to the beautiful side of the university especially, continuing and developing of the university gardens.
- Machines Class:-
It observes the officials transportation from and to the university and maintains the machines as well as distributes the fuel on the electrical generation and the university machines.
- Maintenance Class:-
This class takes care of watching of heating and cooling units, electrical maintenance ,water and sewage.
- General affairs:-
It pays attention to clean the squares, streets, and buildings of the university.
- Stations class:-
It contains two main station :
- Water Filtration Station : It filters drinking-water, squirts water to all the university buildings, maintains and mends the damages in the station and in the pipe water line connecting Hilla with the university.
- Heavy Water Station :It maintains and operates all the heavy water wells and main squirting station which draws from the wells and treats and dismisses it out of the university..
